We\u2019re thrilled to share that Diari de Tarragona<\/em> has published a feature on one of our most unique and exciting projects: S\u2019\u00c0mfora Mud\u00e8fer<\/a>, our wines aged under the sea.<\/p>\n

This article highlights the uniqueness of underwater aging, a technique that combines tradition, innovation, and the sea\u2019s transformative power. In collaboration with Xavier Belda<\/strong>, we embarked on this adventure that led us to submerge our amphorae filled with White Grenache (S\u2019\u00c0mfora Mud\u00e8fer White<\/em>) and Carignan and Red Grenache (S\u2019\u00c0mfora Mud\u00e8fer Red<\/em>), sourced from the oldest vines of the Mud\u00e8fer estate.<\/p>\n

For nearly 12 months, the wine rests 10 meters deep in the Badia del Fangar, gently rocked by the currents and lunar cycles. The result is a wine with a surprising evolution, refined structure, and aromatic complexity that is difficult to achieve through traditional aging methods.<\/p>\n
